Graduating students who plan on pursuing a college major in Agriculture, Natural Resources or related field are invited to apply for the Polly Hardigree Ward Memorial Scholarship. Applications can be picked up in the counseling office and must be postmarked by May 5, 2014.

In an effort to provide quality educational programs, services and opportunities, Darton State College is pleased to offer academic scholarships to incoming freshmen that have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. The scholarship is worth the total cost of in state tuition and mandatory fees for Fall and Spring semesters. The application deadline is March 15, 2014.

 

The student selected must have a minimum core GPA of a 3.0. The student must also have a minimum combined score of a 1000 on the SAT (critical reading and math) or ACT composite score of 22.

 

Applications can be picked up in the counseling office. There is also an essay component to the application along with two letters of recommendation.
