Walton EMC is offering scholarships again for the 2014-2015 college school year. In the spring of 2014, approximately 30 scholarships to graduating high school seniors whose primary residence is served by Walton EMC will be awarded. Each scholarship will be worth $4,000 to students who best demonstrate the EMC spirit of community, hard work, service and perseverance.

 

If you are a senior and your home is serviced by Walton EMC, please pick up an application in the Counseling Office. An outline, high school transcript, two letters of recommendation and a copy of a college acceptance letter are required along with the application form. The application deadline is February 14, 2014.

Walton EMC is offering sophomores and juniors a once in a lifetime opportunity through its annual Washington Youth Tour. Students will be able to meet Georgia's U.S. representatives and senators as well as see the sites of Washington. Personal development and leadership activities will take place throughout the week as well. All sophomores and juniors who live in or attend school in Walton EMC's service area are eligible to apply. The dates this year are June 12-19.
