The Dean Stuart Feldman Summer Science Institute is designed to provide an introduction and overview of the many career opportunities available in the pharmacy profession. The six-day summer program exposes high school students to classroom and laboratory experiences, and provides components of what students should expect from the college experience. The program is open to rising juniors and seniors and the cost is $350.00. Participants will also get to meet UGA Pharmacy professors during the week as well. You may pick up an application in the counseling office. The applications and all supporting documents are due by April 11 to the College of Pharmacy (no exceptions). The dates for the program are June 4-9. For more information, contact Dr. Viva Hill-Silcott at vhsilcot@uga.edu or call (706) 542-6466.

The Janice Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by family members of the late Janice Marie Scott to honor her legacy as an advocate for youth in the Washington, D.C. area. Mrs. Scott was among the 125 individuals who perished in the Pentagon on 9/11.  Selections of senior student recipients are based primarily on financial need. Information about the scholarship is now online at http://jmscottmemorialfund.org . Application packets must be postmarked by March 31. Copies of the application will also be in the Counseling Office.
