Grade 11 – Summer opportunities and scholarships
The UGA College of Pharmacy is pleased to announce the Pharmacy Summer Science Academy to be held June 6-12. This cohort will consist of rising high school male seniors who have shown a strong interest in science and pharmacy. The purpose of the summer academy is to provide these young men with more exposure to the science career field. The academy will be of no cost to participants. If you are a high school junior who has a strong academic record and an annual household income of less than $60,000, you may be interested in applying for QuestBridge's College Prep Scholarship. This scholarship awards full tuition to college summer programs at Emory, Harvard, Notre Dame, Penn State, Stanford or Yale. Grade 12 – New Scholarships
Alpha Iota Delta of Chi Psi Fraternity is proud to announce the Bethel Scholarship to the Georgia Institute of Technology. The scholarship is sponsored by the Robert B. Plunkett Memorial Educational Trust. This year, they are offering one scholarship of $1,000 to a qualified young male entering GA Tech in the fall of 2010. The scholarship is being offered by the fraternity in memory of Stamps Bethel, '27. Applications can be picked up in the guidance office and are due no later than April 15, 2010.
