University of Georgia’s Vet School for a Day (VSFD) 2019 is scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 2019. This program is open to high school juniors and seniors from Georgia and South Carolina to educate students about some of the many career opportunities within the field of veterinary medicine. They will hear from veterinarians from UGA’s vet school, a guest speaker, and receive a tour of our teaching hospital.  The application for VSFD 2019 will be available on our website (https://vet.uga.edu/academic-affairs/vet-school-for-a-day) until Monday, September 2. All application materials must be received by the September 2 deadline. There is no cost to apply to or attend the program. An admissions representative from the Savannah College of Art and Design will be at OCHS during all lunches on August 22.
