Brewton Parker College presents its seventeenth annual Young Writer's Conference on Friday, October 27, 2017, on the Brewton-Parker College campus. This workshop has been very well attended in past years and gives high school students who have a passion for writing an opportunity to participate in guided workshops and discussions with professionals in a variety of writing disciplines. Students are also able to compete for scholarships to attend Brewton-Parker College.

9:30 am Brewton-Parker Admissions and Financial Aid conduct a question-and-answer session for parents and teachers.
9:30 am Students participate in one of eight workshops, producing work to be submitted for evaluation
12:30 pm Lunch at the Lakeside Grill, Brewton-Parker Student Center
1:30 pm Presentation of Awards Ceremony at the Lakeside Grill
2:30 pm Conference Ends
The fee of $20, which includes lunch and a t-shirt can be paid in-person the day of the event.
