Applications for this year's Moore's Ford Memorial scholarships can be picked up in the Guidance office. The scholarships value at $1,000 and are memorials to two couples killed in 1946 by a lynch mob, George and Mae Murray Dorsey and Roger and Dorothy Malcolm. This occurred at the Moore's Ford Bridge connecting Oconee and Walton Counties. The completed applications must be postmarked on or before April 23, 2012.
