Please remember that the deadline for the Lions Club scholarship is Friday. The deadline for the Moore's Ford Memorial scholarships is April 23.

The 2012 Legacy of Hope Scholarship Application is now available.  This scholarship is a private scholarship offered in memory of Dr. Richard Kowalske.  Only students accepted to Gainesville State College are eligible to apply.   Students must attach the required documents stated on the application.  The student must also meet the requirements listed below: Requirements:  

1.      Must be currently attending 12th grade in a state approved Georgia High School

2.      Maintain a GPA of 2.8 or better

3.      Household yearly income for a family of (4) not to exceed $125,000

4.      Active in a local church

5.      Have 25 verifiable hrs. of Community Service over the last 12 months.

6.      Submit a completed application package by June 1, 2012. Application must be received no later than June 1, 2012 to the following address:
