An admissions representative from Georgia College and State University will be at OCHS on January 16 during Warrior Period. The meeting will take place in the main conference room.

These are students that would be interested in the Hospitality Careers Academy! The Academy is a terrific summer opportunity for your students that are interested in a career in Hospitality, Tourism or Culinary Arts. During the week-long Academy, students will listen to guest speakers in the industry, participate in job shadowing and industry tours, take part in team-building and leadership activities, all while working towards the culminating project that integrates the skills and information they have gained throughout the week. Two OCHS graduating seniors will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the Lions Club. This award is not intended to necessarily benefit students with high test scores or GPA's. Consideration will be given to need, recommendations, personal achievements, and record of service to the community. Applications can be picked up in the counseling office, and must be returned by 2:00 PM on April 17
