Walton EMC is proud to again offer scholarships to senior students. In the spring of 2019, approximately 30 scholarships will be awarded to seniors whose primary residence is served by Walton EMC. Each scholarship will be worth $4,000 to students who best demonstrate community service, hard work, and perseverance. The successful candidate will not necessarily have the top grades in the class, but will have demonstrated their willingness to help others, study hard, and succeed despite any obstacles that they may have overcome. These scholarships have been awarded to students who have less than a "B" average.  The applications can be picked up in the counseling office, and are due to Walton EMC no later than Thursday, January 31. There are no exceptions to the deadline.

High school seniors planning on majoring in Agribusiness, Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Wildlife, Forestry, Horticulture, Natural Resources, Plant Sciences, Urban Planning, or Water/Soil Resources, may be interested in applying for The Garden Club of Georgia scholarships.  All applications are available online at gardenclub.uga.edu/scholarships.html. High school students can apply for The Garden Club of Georgia, Deep South and National Garden Clubs scholarships. The Cherokee Rose scholarship is for graduate students only. All materials are due by February 1, 2019.
