The Athens Area Retired Educators Association is sponsoring a $500 scholarship to an OCHS senior. The following criteria will be used in the scholarship selection:

 

1. Humanness

2. Personal qualities (personality, perseverance, morals, ethics, dedication, etc.)

3. Breadth of activities in school

4. Volunteerism/community participation or work experience

5. GPA

If you are interested in being nominated for this scholarship, please see Mr. Guthas in the Counseling Office. Please bring with you submissions in either "vita" or narrative form addressing the criteria outlined above. You may have someone (counselor/teacher) write the submission for you as well. The deadline to submit a paper is Monday, March 25
