Junior and Senior students who are interested in attending Wofford College may be interested in becoming a Wofford Scholar. Qualified candidates are eligible to compete for scholarships ranging from $2,000 per year up to a full scholarship, which is valued at approximately $45,000 per year. The following criteria must be met for a student to be nominated for the Wofford Scholars Program:
- Must rank in the top 10% of the class.
-Must have achieved a minimum score of 1250 (CR and Math) on the PSAT or SAT, or 28 composite score on the PLAN or ACT.
-Must demonstrate qualities of scholarship, leadership, and potential for success.

Broun to Host Military Academy Day 2012 - Please note the change of date/time!
U.S. Representative Paul C. Broun, M.D. (GA-10), in coordination with U.S. Senators Johnny Isaksonand Saxby Chambliss, will host a Military Academy Day on Saturday, October 20th*from 10 a.m. until noon in the auditorium of Athens Technical College. Representatives from the United States Air Force, Naval, Military, and Merchant Marine academies will be in attendance to talk about the application and nomination process and to answer questions. The event is free and open to students in grades eight through twelve.
