OCHS COOKBOOKS HALF PRICE! ONE DAY ONLY!
What: OCHS Cookbook sale
Where: OCHS- on sale at lunch and in the front office
When: Lunch, Tuesday 12-14-10 thru 4:00 p.m. Wednesday 12-15-10.
Cost: $10.00 (Regular price is $20.00)
Details: Any student that purchases a cookbook at lunch on Tuesday will receive free admission to the basketball game.
Book contains over 300 recipes from OCHS parents and staff.
The goals of The Lott Leadership Institute for high school students are to develop leadership skills in young citizens and to prepare them for college. The LLI brings together student leaders from across the Southeast to earn college credit on the University of Mississippi campus and begin the study of leadership. PSAT Scores will be given out on Wednesday. We will be posting a link to a video explaining the score on our website, you are also invited to attend the FYI fair on January 13th to hear more about your student's scores.

Schedule Change and Exam Information
Schedule Change forms will be available in the Guidance Office beginning on Wednesday, December 8th. All requests are due no later than 3:45 on Friday, December 10th. No forms will be accepted after that time.
SCHEDULES MAY BE CHANGED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
1. A specific course is needed for graduation
2. A specific course needs to be repeated for credit
3. Student has already earned credit for a course listed on the schedule
4. Student wants to change diploma type (must have written parent permission)
5. Student wants to change level of a course
(Honors to on-level, etc - must have written parent permission)
6. Student has failed a course with a particular teacher and wants to change teachers
SCHEDULES MAY NOT BE CHANGED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
1. Student wants to change teachers
2. Student wants to change classes for no apparent reason
(changing lunches, having classes with friends, etc.)
3. Student does not like the classes he/she requested during registration

North Georgia College Military Scholarships - Senior students who are interested in attending North Georgia College & State University as Cadets in the Corps of Cadets may qualify for scholarships. The scholarships include 50 Army ROTC Scholarships, 39 Georgia Military Scholarships, and 15 Leadership Scholarships. Burger King Scholars - $1,000, $5,000 and $25,000 scholarships are now available to all eligible high school seniors and Burger King employees.
